DIA Associates offers opportunities for individuals with quantitative backgrounds and different levels of experience who display evidence of outstanding ability and have a track record of exceptional accomplishment. We hire gifted engineers, economists, mathematicians and computer scientists. Many of our employees have little knowledge of Financial Services and other client industries when they join the firm, but all share uncommon intelligence, analytical ability, and drive.

Engagement Managers ensure immaculate day-to-day project execution and contribute to sales of new projects and development of client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with senior client management and other personnel to ensure smooth and effective execution and implementation
  • Guide the problem-solving and insight generation
  • Oversee the teams to ensure highest quality of deliverables
  • Coach and develop junior colleagues
  • Ensure superior communication of results and deliverables to clients in timely fashion

  • Requirements:
  • Advanced degree from a quantitative discipline (Master’s, Ph.D.) or MBA or equivalent in a quantitative field
  • Three-plus years of relevant industry experience
  • Hands-on and profound industry and/or analytical expertise
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in managing teams and clients
  • High energy, attention to detail and willingness to travel

  • Data Analysts derive business insights from usually large amounts of information. They are experts in various data sources and analytical approaches to analyzing them. Data analysts are technically sophisticated, motivated, systematic and full of intellectual curiosity.

    Responsibilities:
  • Collect and convert data from various formats
  • Prepare data for analysis including data quality check, integration, clean up and various manipulations
  • Perform various types of analyses including profiling, trending, segmentation, modeling (statistical and econometric), forecasting and others
  • Produce data profiling statistics and perform analysis using SAS, MS Excel tools including pivot tables, and MS Access
  • Develop data processing and analysis routines (typically using SAS)
  • Summarize results and findings in well organized format

  • Requirements:
  • Masters degree students or exceptional bachelor's degree students from quantitative disciplines such as computer science, engineering, mathematics (statistics), econometrics, etc.
  • Fluent in English, written and oral
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly
  • Strong programming skills in any computer language such as Java, C, C++, C#, VB, etc.
  • Previous SAS experience helpful but not required

  • Programmer Analysts develop a number of crucial customized applications for client and internal use. They are extremely skilled and versatile in various programming languages and environments. Our Programmer Analysts drive constant innovation and enhance our solutions and applications.

    Responsibilities:
  •  Work independently or with team to develop applications that access, analyze and present data
  • Conduct web analytics and perform database programming
  • Enhance internal tools and applications to facilitate the efficient execution of analysis tasks
  • Participate in packaging our solutions and developing presentation layer

  • Requirements:
  • Masters degree students or exceptional bachelor's degree students with computer science majors
  • Good English, written and oral
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly
  • Technical experience in a majority of the following areas: ActionScript or JavaScript, XML or JSON
  • Database: SQL/Oracle/Sybase/MySQL
  • N-Tier architecture and 3-Tier application models
  • Developing web-services
  • At least some experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with encryption and security
  • We are also looking for strong candidates with experience in coding numerical algorithms and knowledge in Java, C, C++, C#, VB, VB#, etc.

    Information Analysts perform a variety of key functions, such as research, analyses and communication. They are very innovative, great communicators and possess superior industry knowledge. Our Information Analysts ensure the highest quality of our product, the best ways to communicate results and ongoing business development.

    Responsibilities:
  • Conduct primary, secondary or online research, including market research
  • Perform various spreadsheet-based analyses and derive insights
  • Summarize results and findings in well organized format and participate in preparation of presentations or documents

  • Requirements:
  • Masters degree students or exceptional bachelor's degree students from less quantitative majors, such as business administration, finance, international trade, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of respective field of study
  • Excellent English, both written and oral - Ability and desire to learn quickly
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
